Natural Stone
Natural stones are mined from the earth. It is then sawed into slabs or made into tiles and polished for desired installation. If you want the beauty of authentic stone countertops, PKB Designs offers a wide range of the following stone types:
MARBLE
Formed from limestone, tempered heat, and pressure, Marble’s characteristic veining creates a striking appearance.
QUARTZITE
Harder than Granite with distinct veining Quartzite ranges from solid colors to a more luxurious crystalline appearance.

Quartz Surfaces
Quartz surfaces are a highly durable, man-made, non-porous surface. Quartz countertops are made from polymers, pigments, resin, and quartz. Durable, as they are heat and scratch resistant, and also a non-porous surface, making it a safe material to use in high traffic spaces by keeping germs and bacteria at bay. Since quartz surfaces are man-made, the design options are limitless.

Porcelain Slabs
Porcelain countertops are made from ceramic clay, and mineral coloring making it a highly durable, non-porous surface. Porcelain countertops are extremely durable as they are heat, scratch, and UV resistant. Similar to quartz, the surface is non-porous and comes in remarkably realistic designs that mimic natural stone, wood butcher block, and concrete countertops.
